International Network Health Policy and Reform presented international best practice examples

What role does the private sector play in Central European and Asian countries? Can we observe a trend toward privatization of health care? What chances does globalization of health care offer?

For the second time, the International Network Health Policy & Reform participated at an FTD conference presenting international healthcare business developments. Posters illustrated for example the successful outsourcing of x-rays from Singaporean hospitals to India or the establishment of a national health information system in Estonia. The country examples can be downloaded as PDF (see box "Healthcare markets in Central Europe and Asia" at the right).
