The School of Public Health of Seoul National University was founded in 1959. As the oldest and largest school of public health in Korea, it has 23 full-time faculty members in 3 academic departments- health policy and management, biostatistics and epidemiology, and environmental health. Currently about 300 students in the master program and about 100 students in the doctoral program are enrolled in the school.

Department of Health Policy and Management

The Department of Health Policy and Management has played the leading role in health policymaking as well as health services research in Korea, covering health economics, health policy, health sociology and health administration.
